The Area Agency on Aging has designated the City of Apalachicola as Franklin County's central service provider of supportive and nutrition services, under the Older Americans Act (OAA), and designated Gulf County Senior Citizens Association, Inc. (serving Apalachicola and Eastpoint) and Wakulla County Senior Citizens Council, Inc. (serving Lanark and Carrabelle) as Community Care for the Elderly Lead Agencies.
Legal services for the senior citizen community are funded under OAA, and can be accessed by calling 850-653-1551.
